Overview
Preeclampsia is essentially high blood pressure during pregnancy. High blood pressure can damage arteries, which can lead to severe complications. There has been some research on low PAPP-A levels and preeclampsia. There is also evidence that suggests low-dose aspirin during pregnancy can benefit expecting mothers who have preeclampsia.
