Question

“Hi Vanessa! I recently started listening to your podcasts and I have to say, I have learned so much already. I am pregnant with my second child and I am getting prenatal care at a hospital where there are five different midwives. Throughout my pregnancy I will at some point meet each midwife at my appointments. There’s no telling who will be delivering my baby as it depends on whoever is on call when I go into labor. I have one specific midwife who I really click with and who I can tell really cares about me and my prenatal care. There’s another who is kind of young and seems like she doesn’t care much. And the others are very old fashioned and kind of seem rushed every time I see them. From my understanding, there are many hospitals who practice this prenatal care. Any tips on how to become more comfortable with the other midwives?” – Braydi
